The EU-GCC Partnership Cooperation in Higher Education

The  workshop on the role of education in fostering GCC-EU relations took place in Kuwait with the Euro-Gulf Research Unit of Kuwait University. It was organised in conjunction and with the support of the Bertelsmann Stiftung, Germany. Education is a generational system and the extent to which certain skills or cultural content can are passed on to the next generation depends on the educational level of the previous generation. Demographic shifts make the need for innovation even more urgent fully cognizant of the fact that in order to compete in an international arena a top-notch educational system is needed.
